Ashley and Julian had such a romantic Central Park engagement session! It was so good to see them both and get to know a bit more about their love story. I can’t wait until their December Anthony’s Pier 9 wedding – I know it’s going to be absolutely beautiful!!!
These two met online about 3 and a half years ago. Ashley told me they they talked for a long time and felt like they had a great connection before they met up for the first time. The funniest part was when she told her parents, her mom said that she already knew Julian!! And she had nothing but great things to say. They had an incredible first date, and a week and a half later, they were officially a couple.
After Ashley accidentally found out about Julian’s first proposal plan, he pulled together a separate surprise to make their engagement super special for her. At a Mother’s Day BBQ with both families, Julian popped the question! It wasn’t the original horse and carriage ride he planned but Ashley told me it was just as (if not more!) magical that he did it with their families there!! Now, Ashley and Julian are planning their dream winter wedding together and I know they’re excited for what’s ahead.
Central Park Engagement Session
We met up for their engagement session at the Brooklyn Bridge to start. They had some cozy outfits on to keep them warm, but they were troopers! As the sun kept rising, we headed into Central Park for the rest of their engagement session. It was so exciting to see them and capture their engagement portraits in such an iconic spot!! Ashley chose the most beautiful pink gown that really popped against the winter colors. Their entire session felt super classic and romantic… and even the fun, silly portraits we captured are beautiful! You can really see who these two are – which is what engagement sessions are all about.
Ashley and Julian, I truly cannot wait until your December wedding!!! Congratulations again!
